Naughty but nice! The gifts that are remembered are the ones we make ourselves. They are the exact opposite of the gift card or cash in that they show our willingness to do something special. These cookies look gorgeous, send a beautiful message and are really easy to make. OK... they've got a few calories but HEY - how often are you going to make them?

    Instructions
    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
    2. Cream butter and brown sugar with an electric mixer at medium speed until fluffy.
    3. Beat in the egg and vanilla.
    4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
    5. Slowly add the flour mixture to the batter mix and blend thoroughly.
    6. Turn out the dough on to a smooth surface and knead until smooth.
    7. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours, remove and allow the dough to sit out for a few minutes to soften slightly.
    8. Roll into golf-ball sized balls and press with cookie stamps directly on baking paper.
    9. Bake for 10-12 minutes and then allow to cool on a rack.
    10. Now, you can choose to decorate them or just enjoy them as they are!
