    Instructions
    1. Preheat oven to 180C.
    2. Trim and cube the steak. Combine the flour, salt, pepper and mustard on a sheet of baking paper. Add the steak and coat well.
    3. Melt your butter in a frying pan and cook the bacon for 2 minutes. Add the onion, reduce the heat to low and cook for 10 minutes.
    4. Add the meat and brown well on all sides, then transfer it, along with leftover seasoned flour, into a dish with a lid.
    5. Add your vegetables, the chilli sauce and the water. Cover and cook in the oven for two hours.
    Recipe Notes

    Adjust the mustard powder and chilli sauce to suit the heat of the peppers. Most medium to large peppers are relatively mild but can, on occasion, be surprisingly hot.
