    Instructions
    1. Preheat your oven to 170C.
    2. Grease and line an 18 cm cake pan or a loaf tin.
    3. Puree the whole orange in food processor.
    4. Add melted butter, eggs, sugar and mix well.
    5. Add flour and poppy seeds and mix until well combined.
    6. Cook for 40 - 45 minutes or until a skewer pushed into the centre comes out clean.
    Recipe Notes

    This recipe calls for the whole, UNPEELED orange. If the skin is particularly thick you may choose to trim the ends first. Always wash with mild detergent first unless you know where that orange has come from!

    You can substitute rice bran oil for the butter if you prefer.
